'Israel systematically targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque'
Wed, 28 Oct 2009 Press TV
Palestinian legislator Jamal al-Khudari says the frequent Israeli assaults on the Al-Aqsa Mosque are not just efforts by extremist Zionist groups or individuals but rather a systematic policy pursued by Tel Aviv.
"This dangerous policy requires concerted efforts by Arab and Muslim governments, institutions, and peoples to help the Palestinian people face the Zionist dangers threatening the occupied city of Jerusalem (al-Quds)," al-Khudari was quoted as saying on Monday by the Palestinian Information Center.
He also called on Arab and Muslim officials to support the Palestinians' efforts to maintain their presence in Jerusalem (al-Quds).
Israeli forces invaded the courtyard of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday morning, firing rubber-coated bullets and teargas canisters at Palestinian worshippers.
At least 30 Palestinians were wounded and up to 20 others arrested during fierce clashes between Palestinian activists using stones, shoes, and bare fists and armed Israeli troops in and around the sacred site.
Muslims consider the frequent Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound to be part of a Judaization campaign targeting the holy city of Jerusalem (al-Quds).

Muslim Brotherhood Leader: Wage Jihad For Al-Aqsa
Muslim Brotherhood General Guide Muhammad Mahdi 'Akef said in his weekly sermon that jihad is the path to liberate Al-Aqsa mosque and that the obligation of jihad applies to the entire Islamic ummah, each according to his ability – and not only to the regimes or to the armed organizations in Palestine.
He added that the concept of Jihad does not mean only military jihad, but also financial, cultural, media, and political jihad.

President Obama is on a path toward establishing a one-world government. This is the warning of Christopher Monckton, a former major policy adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
In December, world leaders will descend upon Copenhagen to sign a United Nations climate change treaty that will succeed the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, which is aimed at reducing greenhouse gases and set to expire in 2012. An agreement has been drafted. The goal of the Copenhagen treaty is to erect an international cap-and-trade regime to curb carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, said to be responsible for man-made global warming. Recently, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown warned of a "climate catastrophe" - a rising wave of floods, droughts and shrinking food crops - unless the treaty is signed. Mr. Brown even said global warming would inflict more damage than both world wars and the Great Depression combined; the world has only several weeks to save itself from impending doom. [...]
Global-warming alarmists are using the myth of climate change to impose an embryonic socialist world government. Following the collapse of communism, the West's progressive elites desperately searched for a viable ideological alternative. They found it in environmentalism.
Although the Green movement wraps itself in the flag of empirical science, it represents the very opposite: a dogma that provides meaning and purpose to its rabid followers. The ideology justifies massive tax increases and government control of the economy; it seeks to cripple free enterprise and curtail market-driven growth. Many of today's Greens are yesterday's Reds.
Global warming is the greatest fraud of our time. The overwhelming scientific evidence shows that, rather than getting hotter, the Earth's temperatures are cooling. Increasing numbers of leading scientists are challenging the flawed computer models used by eco-alarmists. [...]
Moreover, Mr. Monckton points out that, in paragraph 38, Annex 1, the Copenhagen draft calls for a U.N.-created "government" responsible for taxation, enforcement and redistribution. In other words, the draft treaty explicitly demands that the world body erect an international mechanism with the power to impose emission-reduction targets for each country, determine acceptable levels of CO2 and levy global taxes.
The United States would lose control over its environmental policy. Also, it would sign its death warrant as a functioning democracy, enabling the United Nations to administer a fledgling world government possessing the authority to regulate and tax the American economy. The treaty is a sword aimed at the heart of our national sovereignty. If Mr. Obama signs the Copenhagen treaty, he "will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your prosperity away forever," Mr. Monckton recently told an audience in Minnesota. "I read that treaty and what it says is this: that a world government is going to be created."
Yet the U.S. Senate can avoid this disastrous course. A supermajority of 67 votes is required to ratify the treaty. In 1997, the Senate in a 95-0 vote rejected the Kyoto Protocol, thereby preventing the United States from joining. Mr. Monckton believes that, in order to avoid defeat, Mr. Obama will try to circumvent the ratification process. If he does, he will spark a political revolt that will make the Tea Party protests look tame by comparison.
Mr. Obama has vowed to create a "green economy" based on "green-collar jobs" and "a green New Deal." The Copenhagen treaty would enable him to accomplish his revolutionary ambitions. It would mark his Cultural Revolution - the permanent transformation of America.

The British public are increasingly concerned about the Big Brother measures taken by government, a poll released today suggests.
Big Brother Watch says their survey of the public showed four in five people believe their freedoms are being eroded in Britain, and are particularly concerned about the sharing of their personal information.
Key results from the poll of 1,353 adults included 45 per cent of respondents 'strongly agreeing' with the statement "our freedoms are being eroded by a Big Brother state", while just 16 per cent supported the use of CCTV cameras which can record conversations.
Alex Deane, director of Big Brother Watch, said: "We are the victims of ever more intrusive policies, pushing more and more into the details of our lives.
"The government doesn't seem to care that Big Brother Britain has been rejected by the vast majority of people who live here.
"They continue to pursue expensive and invasive surveillance methods that serve only to create criminals out of otherwise law-abiding citizens."
Big Brother Watch is a campaign from the founders of the Tax Payer's Alliance. Their poll found 82 per cent of people disagreed that "placing microchips in refuse bins to monitor the waste thrown away by households was an acceptable measure to encourage recycling" – despite 42 local authorities currently monitoring the habits of over two million households. www.inthenews.co.uk

Britain passes Big Brother landmark: More than one in 10 people now on DNA database
By James Slack 28th October 2009
A Big Brother landmark has been passed with ten per cent of the population now stored on the Government's DNA database.
In total, there are now an astonishing 5,532,847 individual profiles logged on the giant computer system - out of a population of 54million in England and Wales.
Around one million of those included on the system have never been convicted of any crime.
It will fuel the public backlash against the march towards a surveillance state, with polling released today showing eight out of ten voters are now fed-up with the increased use of surveillance powers.
Shadow Home Office Minister James Brokenshire said: 'The Government has been obsessed with growing the DNA database for the sake of it regardless of guilt or innocence.
'Despite being told that their approach is unlawful they have been dragging their feet about doing anything about it.
The polling, carried out for the civil liberties pressure group Big Brother Watch by PoliticsHome, found 45 per cent of respondents answered ‘strongly agree’ and 34 per cent ‘somewhat agree’ with the statement: 'Our freedoms are being eroded by a Big Brother state'. [...]
Alex Deane, director of Big Brother Watch, said: 'Britain is a country rightly known around the world as a cradle of liberty and freedom. But as these results show, most people now feel that our freedoms are being eroded.
'We are the victims of ever more intrusive policies, pushing more and more into the details of our lives.
'The Government doesn’t seem to care that Big Brother Britain has been rejected by the vast majority of people who live here. They continue to pursue expensive and invasive surveillance methods that serve only to create criminals out of otherwise law-abiding citizens.'
Meanwhile, separate figures obtained by the Liberal Democrats showed that more than 90,000 innocent people have been added to the database since European judges ruled the practice was illegal last December. [...]
'Despite the European ruling that the practice is a breach of human rights, for every innocent DNA profile removed from the database, around 150 new ones are added.'

Meshaal: Israel plans to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque
Mon, 26 Oct 2009 Press TV
A senior Hamas leader has warned that Israel plans to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds to build a new temple in its place.
On Sunday, the mosque compound was the scene of violent clashes for the second time in recent weeks after Israeli police invaded the compound and arrested 12 Arab worshippers.
"It is the first step towards dividing the mosque, a prelude to demolishing it and building a temple in its place," said Hamas political leader Khalid Meshaal in a speech in Damascus.
"Jerusalem belongs to its Arab inhabitants, Muslims and Christians. The future (of the city) will not be settled at the negotiating table, but on the ground of confrontation and resistance," AFP quoted Meshaal as saying.
The Organization for Human Rights on the Temple Mount (OHRTM), a rightist Israeli group, in a meeting on Sunday had called for a new temple to be built in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
The conference was attended by a number of Knesset members and leading rabbis, Ynet news reported.
Tensions have been high over the past month and the compound has been the scene of fighting after Israeli extremists, backed by Israel's police force, tried to enter the mosque and clashed with Palestinian worshipers.
Israeli police also denied Palestinians access to the mosque compound for a period of several days.
The blockade was followed by demonstrations in numerous Middle Eastern countries including Iran and Turkey, which resulted in the re-opening of the mosque two weeks ago.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference has also warned Israel of "dangerous consequences" for acts of sacrilege in the holy Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
ISESCO Denounces Breaking into Al-Aqsa Mosque 26/10/2009
RABAT, October 26, 2009 (WAFA)-The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) strongly denounced the breaking into the holy shrine of Al-Haram Al-Sharif by the Israeli police and the use of bombs against the Palestinians who stationed themselves at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem.
In a communiqué released today, ISESCO called on the international community to intervene and put pressure on Israel to stop its continuous attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, in compliance with the international laws which prohibit attacking places of worship and religious symbols and altering the historical and geographical landmarks of the Occupied Palestinian territory. http://english.wafa.ps/?action=detail&id=13282

Politicians, corporations 'rewarded' for infringing privacy
An annual award for the greatest abusers of data protection and privacy infringement is highlighting those, considered by some, to be German privacy's public enemies. This is one award that no one wants to receive.
The Big Brother Awards 2009 wrapped up in Germany on Friday, handing out recognition to politicians and corporations with records of data and privacy infingement.
The big "winners" of Friday's Big Brother Awards were Germany's Family Minister Ursula von der Leyen and Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble along with a slew of companies.
These so-called "Oscars for data leeches" have been awarded each year since 2000 by the FoeBuD association which was formed in 1987 for the Promotion of Mobile and Immobile Public Data Traffic.
Watching the watchmen
Called "Zensursula," or Censorsula, by the awards' organizers, Ursula von der Leyen won for her initiatives to block access to child pornography websites. This, according to the award's justification, created "a system for advanced content control on the internet, which could evolve into Orwellian proportions."
Bildunterschrift: Großansicht des Bildes mit der Bildunterschrift: The organizers warn of "Orwellian proportions" as in the famous novel "1984"
However, the issue seemed moot as, the day before the awards ceremony, new measures were announced by the Christian Democrats and Free Liberal parties, that child pornography sites would be deleted at the source, rather than try to limit internet access.
Interior Minister Schaeuble's prize was one of recognition of lifetime achievement for his "obsessive ambition for turning the constitutional democracy into a preventatively authoritarian police-state," according to FoeBuD.
Rewarding the many, as well as the few
Also honored with an award was the International Association of Athletics Federations, which organized the World Championships in Berlin in August, for its invasively in-depth background checks on journalists in order to be permitted to cover the event.
Other awards went to German firms Lidl, KiK Textiles, HDI Gerling, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom, as well as the farming company Claas GmbH, which was highlighted for placing a GPS tracking device in its combine harvesters to ensure no deviations were made by the vehicle during harvesting.
Upcoming Big Brother awards are in Zurich, Switzerland on 24 October and Vienna, Austria on 25 October.

The UN Human Rights Council will hold a special session on the situation in the West Bank and East Jerusalem Al-Quds as a UN Gaza war report awaits a debate.
The session, demanded by the Palestinian Authority, is to discuss a report by independent fact-finding mission on Israel's military action against the Hamas-run the Gaza Strip in December and January, Palestinian diplomats said on Tuesday.
A UN statement, however, said that the 47-member council would hold a special session on the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and East Jerusalem Al-Quds on Thursday.
The decision follows two weeks of mounting tensions triggered by Israeli restrictions imposed on Palestinian worshippers to access the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, the third holy site in the Muslim world.
Israel has deployed thousands of troops in the area to quell demonstrations by Palestinians protesters who were denied admission into the mosque compound while Jewish worshippers were allowed to hold a religious ceremony in the site.
The closure of the holy compound caused fierce clashes in the city between the Israeli soldiers and Palestinians, who accuse Tel Aviv of trying to remove the Islamic-Palestinian identity of the site, which is also holy to Christians and Jews.
Jordan, which reserves the right to look after all Islamic and Christian holy sites in East Jerusalem Al-Quds under a 1994 peace treaty, demanded Israel last week to keep Jewish extremists away from the compound and keep the Mugrabi Gate closed.
Israel seized East Jerusalem Al-Quds during the six-day war in 1967 and later annexed it despite opposition from the international community, who continue to consider the territory as occupied.
Earlier this month, the Human Rights Council debated the damning report on the Gaza war but decided to delay a vote on it until March 2010 under pressure from the US and Israel's European allies.
The head of the UN fact-finding mission, Richard Goldstone, recommended in August that the UN Security Council take up the report's findings and ask the International Criminal Court to examine possible charges, unless progress was made in investigations in Israel and the Palestinian territories within six months.
The report sparked furor among Tel Aviv officials for highlighting the Israeli army's violation of international laws during the 23-day offensive which left more than 1,400 Palestinians killed.
The Goldstone report is expected to be raised during a UN Security Council debate on the Middle East scheduled for Wednesday in New York.

The Zionists have always sought after the Temple Mount; soon after the Six-Day War, paratroop commander Motta Gur radioed his historic announcement - "The Temple Mount is in our hands" - on June 7, 1967.
Jews lobby 'to remove Al-Aqsa Mosque'
Thu, 15 Oct 2009 11:02:31 GMT - PRESS TV
Extremist Jewish organizations in Israel have demanded that the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock from East Jerusalem Al-Quds be transferred to Mecca.
Gershon Salomon is seeking the removal of the mosques from East Jerusalem Al-Quds, which Israel occupied during the 1967 aggression and illegally annexed it later despite international opposition, Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Wednesday.
The founder and leader of the ultra-Orthodox Temple Mount and Eretz Yisrael Faithful Movement plans to have Israeli engineers transfer the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock to the Muslims' holy city of Mecca, the daily added.
The Israeli paper also quoted ultra-right Yehuda Etzion, who is associated with Israeli spy agencies, as saying that blowing up of the Muslim sanctities would become 'inevitable' to if Tel Aviv fails to dissemble and transfer the edifices.
Etzion was jailed for five years in the 1980s for a plot to explode the mosques on the Noble Sanctuary (Haram al-Sharif), and has vowed he would do the same again.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque has been attacked by extremist Jews over the past week while the mosque compound was sealed off to Muslim worshippers.
Israel also deployed thousands of troops in the area to quell demonstrations by Palestinians protesters who accused Tel Aviv of efforts to take away the Islamic-Palestinian identity of the Muslims' third holy site.
Jordan, who enjoys the right to look after all Islamic and Christian holy sites in East Jerusalem Al-Quds under a 1994 peace treaty, demanded last week that Israel keep Jewish extremists away from the compound and keep the Mugrabi Gate closed.

Following the 2009 G20 summit, plans were announced for implementing the creation of a new global currency to replace the US dollar’s role as the world reserve currency. As the Telegraph reported, “the G20 leaders have activated the IMF's power to create money and begin global "quantitative easing". In doing so, they are putting a de facto world currency into play. It is outside the control of any sovereign body.”These are not new suggestions, as they have been in the plans of the global elite for a long time. In the midst of the current crisis, the elite have fast-tracked their agenda of forging a New World Order in finance.
An article in the Telegraph reported that Gordon Brown would want “to see the IMF reformed to become a ‘global central bank’ closely monitoring the international economy and financial system.”
In early Oct 2008, it was reported that, “as the world's central bankers gather this week in Washington DC for an IMF-World Bank conference to discuss the crisis, the big question they face is whether it is time to establish a global economic "policeman" to ensure the crash of 2008 can never be repeated.”
On Jan 1, 1999, the EU established the Euro as its regional currency. The Euro has grown in prominence over the past several years.
The Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) was established on May 23, 2008. As the BBC reported, “The leaders of 12 South American nations have formed a regional body aimed at boosting economic and political integration in the region.”
In June of 2008, it was reported that, “Gulf Arab central bankers agreed to create the nucleus of a joint central bank next year in a major step forward for monetary union but signaled that a new common currency would not be in circulation by an agreed 2010 target.”
The African Union was founded in 2002 consisting of 53 African states. In 2003, the Brookings Institution produced a paper on African economic integration (stating) that, “Africa, like other regions of the world, is fixing its sights on creating a common currency. Already, there are projects for regional monetary unions, and the bidding process for an eventual African central bank is about to begin.”
A report written by former MP, Herbert Grubel, called, The Case for the Amero. He wrote that, “The plan for a North American Monetary Union presented in this study is designed to include Canada, the United States, and Mexcio,” and a “North American Central Bank, like the European Central Bank, will have a constitution making it responsible only for the maintenance of price stability and not for full employment.”
In 1988, The Economist ran an article titled, Get Ready for the Phoenix, in which they wrote, “THIRTY years from now, Americans, Japanese, Europeans, and people in many other rich countries and some relatively poor ones will probably be paying for their shopping with the same currency. Prices will be quoted not in dollars, yen or D-marks but in, let's say, the phoenix. The phoenix will be favoured by companies and shoppers because it will be more convenient than today's national currencies, which by then will seem a quaint cause of much disruption to economic life in the late twentieth century.”
In Feb of 2009, the Times Online reported that a “New world order in banking [is] necessary. But of course, the ones that are shaping this new banking system are the champions of the previous banking system. Ultimately, what this implies is that the future of the global political economy is one of increasing moves toward a global system of governance, or a world government, with a world central bank and global currency; and that, concurrently, these developments are likely to materialize in the face of and as a result of a decline in democracy around the world, and thus, a rise in authoritarianism. What we are witnessing is the creation of a New World Order. http://bit.ly/TihtR

The second consecutive Sunday of clashes at Al Aqsa.
Israel shuts down Al-Aqsa mosque, turns violent
Sun, 04 Oct 2009 Press TV
Israeli police have fired tear gas at Palestinians protesting the closure of Al-Aqsa holy compound (Temple Mount) in the occupied Jerusalem. Israeli security forces beefed up security in the Old City Sunday and denied entry to the compound where the Al-Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock shrine are located, said Adnan al-Husseini, the Palestinian-appointed governor of Jerusalem. "The situation is very tense in the Old City," Husseini said.
An Israeli police spokesman, Micky Rosenfeld, also confirmed that the compound, known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif, had been "shut to visitors." Some 150 Palestinians protested the closure of the site, hurling stones and bottles at riot police. Palestinian medical officials said nine people were treated for minor injuries including tear gas inhalation. Israel said one policeman was hurt by a rock.
Israeli police claim that the decision to close the site was made following calls, spread on the Palestinian media on Saturday evening and throughout the night, to "come protect the Mount." Many Jewish visitors are also expected to flock to Jerusalem during the holiday of Sukkot, particularly to the Old City and the Western Wall.
Last week, 30 people were injured in similar clashes near the Al-Aqsa mosque, as Palestinians warned of a possible new uprising. Israel occupied East Jerusalem during a 1967 aggression and later annexed it. The status of the city is among the thorniest issues of the peace process with the Palestinians, underscoring the reality that any Palestinian state should include the city as its capital.
---------------
Sheikh Ikrma Sabri states that "We constantly urge Muslims here to maintain a permanent and uninterrupted presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque. And I can say this has been the case for many years. But the preservation of Al-Aqsa Mosque is not the sole responsibility of Muslims in Palestine, because the holy sanctuary belongs to the entire Muslim umma. Hence it is the responsibility of the entire umma to protect and safeguard this holy place from Zionist plots and evil designs."
Khaled Amayreh writes: "In recent years, fanatical messianic Jewish groups have become more daring in their attempts to gain a foothold at the Islamic holy place as the police allowed them to perform Jewish Talmudic rites and rituals within the Haram esplanade. Some of the rituals included the attempted laying of a cornerstone for the building of a Jewish temple, presumably after the destruction of the Islamic edifices in the area."
Sheikh Raed Salah harshly slammed the Palestinian Authority (PA) for “failing to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque” in Jerusalem. Salah also held Arab and Islamic countries responsible for “repeated intrusions by Jewish groups and Israeli forces into Al-Aqsa Mosque due to their silence and lack of support for Palestinians in their defense of the holy site.”

[Referring to the documentary] "musicians selling their soul for the sake of rock and roll", and how they are portraying demonic and disturbing messages to society. [I recently watched] a movie on TV called "School of Rock" for Jack Black; before watching the documentary on rock and roll so I kind of tied things up. I read on article on the vigilant citizen about the VMA awards. Jack Black shows up on stage to present an award and the article reads:
"Jack Black comes out dressed as a heavy metal guy on steroids to promote a video game. At one point he asks the audience to put their devil horns in the air and the proceeds to pray to the “darklord Satan”. The whole thing is light-hearted and comical but I don’t see any other way a prayer to Satan can be inserted into a primetime show without getting a truckload of complaints by “concerned parents”. The scene starts off semi-funny but Jack Black finishes off on a more serious note by saying: “I ask you to grant tonight’s nominees with continued success in the music industry“.
Jack Black is a musician himself, his band is called "Tenacious D" there's also a movie based on the band. His influences are Led Zeppelin and other heavy metal bands. [In] one of his songs [titled] "Tribute" the video and lyrics include a demon who tells them to play a good song or he "will eat their soul".
Back to the movie School of Rock, it's about this fraud substitute teacher who was a former musician, and after seeing the kids at school he starts to teach them how to play rock and roll so that they could play in battle of the bands. During the movie he starts teaching them the history of rock, telling them about the greatest rock bands; and throughout the whole movie he talks about "sticking it to the man" and "you only need the man"; but they never actually say who "the man" is. At the beginning of the movie the kids are shown to be very innocent, and clean minded, at the end of the movie, all they want to do is Rock and Roll... They also keep talking about "the man". [T]heir personalities totally change, and they seem to be more violent in my opinion. They also meet many musicians and want to act just like them. At the end of the movie, the kids and Jack Black are finally playing at the battle of the bands, a song about SCHOOL. After looking up the lyrics, this is what I found:
Don't take much to memorize your lie. I feel like I've been hypnotisized. And then that magic man; he come to town. Whoo wee! He just spun my head around. [Girl] Oh you know I was on an honor roll. Got good grades and got no soul. Raised my hand before I could speak my mind. I been biting my tongue too many times. [Jack] And then that magic man said to obey? uh-huh "Do what magic man do, not what magic man say." Now can I please have the attention of the class. Today's assignment... a hem... kick some ass! This is my final exam. Now you all know who I am. I might not be that perfect son. But ya'll be rockin' when I'm done
AFTER watching the documentary, it all clicked. There was a part where the narrator says that "tweens" between the ages of 8-13 are very into music, (the kids in school of rock were exactly between that age!) It was obvious that in that movie the kids were surely influenced by their "teacher" (the teacher, Jack Black, who teaches them to become ROCK STARS?! How is that a teacher?) In the documentary, many artists and musicians claim that they are "teachers to their fans and to the generation". Especially at a young age, kids look up to their teachers. The audience for this movie is supposedly for around that age group, surprise surprise. Usually kids around that age group are very influenced by movies like these (I should know). This is how they get into the whole rock scene. Therefore, the teacher is infiltrating the young, closed and innocent minds for the worse. And sadly succeeds! It is sad to say that the media has great influences over the youth nowadays.
